Mr. Carbone will need a head count of many Guard members plan to attend Station 300. Mrs. Lemon has required guard members respond directly to her with RSVPs by Friday evening, June 8th.
The guard will be meeting the week of June 18-21 from 6-9pm at at the school. We will be outside so please come prepared. Below is a list of items you will need.
- Flag (if you do not have one I need to know ASAP)
- White T-shirt, comfortable shorts and tennis shoes. No jean shorts.
- Bug Spray (gnats and mosquito’s get bad at this time of evening)
- Gallon jug of water
- Beach towel
- POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!!
We will learn marching basics, basics on flag, and movement. The routines we learn during this camp we will use all year.
Parents – as with all rehearsals, you are more than welcome to stay and watch. The band boosters are also in need of chaperones during the camp, so please sign-up to volunteer if you are going to be around, anyways! If you drop off your child, please be back by 9pm for pick-up.
If you are interested in Color Guard, and have yet to join us – this camp would be a very opportune time to get involved. We need to finalize our numbers soon.
Camp is going to be loads of fun! Not only do we begin the basics of what it is and what it means to be in the marching band, we start to come together as a team and family!
We look forward to getting started, and to a week of getting better. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Mr. Carbone at email@example.com.
